My Name is Jim Harmon. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1946. After a bad winter in 1977/78, I moved to Florida. Then in 2003, I grew tired of the Florida heat and moved to the North Georgia Mountains. I now live in Ellijay, Georgia surrounded by nature, wildlife, and historic places to see and photograph. For event photography, I have such places as the Olympic Park for White Water Rafting and Kayaking, Civil War Reenactments, and The Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee for motor cycles and sports cars.

I use a couple different Canon DSLR cameras with a 70-300mm lens, a 55-250mm lens, a 18-55mm lens, and an F2.8 100mm Macro lens. For editing, I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 7, Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, PhotoImpact Pro, version 13, Photomatix Pro 3, and Canon Digital Photo Professional.
